one of northern ontario's authentic gospel singers, Orville has written and recorded over 40 songs, and continues to find joy and honour his audience with his Musical Ministry
Orville Rumleski was born on a farm in Shillington, Ontario. He came from a very musical family. By the age of 21, he had established himself as being a versatile country singer. On many occasions, a Brother in the Lord had asked Orville to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. However, Orville’s stubbornness and pride kept him from doing so. In 1977, Orville slipped and fell , hitting his throat on the back of a chair, ending his musical career. For the next ten years, Orville experienced financial losses, divorce, and became dependent upon alcohol. He had hit rock bottom. One day, while visiting the family farm, Orville came to the realization that he needed God’s help with his life, and fervently prayed for the Lord Jesus to take control of his life. From that day forward, God put people, places and circumstances into his life to help him with his new walk with God. In 1991, God began to restore Orville’s voice, and he wrote his first Gospel song. Today, Orville continues to bless people with his Musical Ministry. Orville has written and recorded over 40 songs, and continues to find joy in his Ministry.
